Tailwheel

Our tailwheel course offers you the ability to become a more precise and proficient pilot. Tailwheel, also known as conventional gear, is the landing gear that all planes were made with originally. Pilots have been flying these planes for over 100 years. While it does take sharp skills and coordination, there is no reason that any aviator cannot become a great tailwheel pilot. You will learn the physics and aerodynamics specific to flying taildraggers that govern how they operate, while mastering the art of handling this type of aircraft.
